An insufferably long About Us page listing our capabilities, shamelessly name-dropping clients we've worked with and some package information with a genuinely excellent McDonald's analogy.

Who we are

We’re Alexis and Sinéad. Designers by trade, dreamers by nature. We developed our eye the slow way: quietly gathering inspiration from places we’ve been, things we’ve seen, people we’ve loved (some we shouldn’t have), books we’ve dog-eared, ideas we’ve collected like hoarders. It’s a practice we’ve been working on our whole lives; noticing things, obsessing over them and then filing the ideas away for later.

We’re cut from the same cloth. We own the same car and regularly walk into the studio wearing the same dress. We both started off designing clothes and both stopped for the same reason. We both attended the 1999 Killing Heidi concert at the infamous Lady Bay Hotel. Alexis went with her dad (she was 11) and Sinead went with a bunch of boys. Of course she did.

Our differences? Alexis has a knack for finding inspiration so obscure, perfect and exquisite that you’ll actually faint. She can write so thoughtfully that it will make you cry with sadness or joy or sometimes both in the same sentence. In spite of that she can’t spell to save herself. She is everyone's hype girl. We won't blame you if you work with us mostly because you want to be friends with her.

Sinéad knows the name of every typeface that’s ever existed, can spot a kerning crime from a mile away, and has an instinct for good design that feels almost unfair. She is cool. Not in a backwards-cap kind of way, but in the quietly brilliant, effortlessly knowing kind of way. In spite of that, she’s shockingly clumsy, and has knocked over every drink she’s ever poured herself. We won't blame you if you work with us mostly because you want to be friends with her too.

We’re different in all the ways that make us interesting, but the same in all the ways that make us work. We make each other laugh, challenge each other, notice different things and thankfully, both know when something looks bloody good.

What we do

Not included in our cute list are all the fiddly bits in between. The 0.1mm moves, tweaking a kerning value nobody else will ever notice, checking colours on every device in the office.

We build the whole world a brand lives in, then quietly obsess over whether every piece is exactly right. Some people call this "attention to detail". We call it a Wednesday.

Packages

We feel there is a direct connection between choosing a brand package and a McDonald's meal (stay with us). This metaphor is either genius or deeply unhinged, and honestly, we've made our peace with not knowing which.
